Chartered in 1958 by Charter President N Jeffes, the Rotary Club Cape of Good Hope, aspires to put Service above Self and to promote the Objects of Rotary in the Southern Cape Peninsula.

The Club is a PBO – Public Benefit Organisation

It has as its primary objective Community Service, with particular emphasis on supporting disadvantaged children and the elderly together with other pertinent projects within the deep south precinct of the Southern Cape Peninsula. 100% of all the  funds raised or donated, are spent on Club approved projects and are implemented under the supervision of members who apply their personal skill and resources without remuneration.

Club meetings are held every TUESDAY evening at 6:30 for 7:00 pm at the St James Retirement Hotel, Main Road, St James –  with parking facilities opposite at the St James Railway Station.

Visitors from other Rotary clubs and guests are welcome to join us for an evening of Rotary fellowship, interesting speakers and good food and to find out more about Rotary and our vibrant club. For more information call President  Bev Frieslich on 082 825 6053/ 021 782 8062

Rotary was founded on the Ideal of Service, and is governed by

the FOUR WAY TEST of the things we think say and do:

Is it the truth?

Is it fair to all concerned?

Will it build goodwill and better friendships?

Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

Let us give care & provide others with hope in our world at large.
